The license
Orbwing is licensed, not sold, for your personal use on Macs you own or control. Copies obtained from the Mac App Store are additionally governed by Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement; where the two differ for an App Store copy, Apple's terms control.
A direct-edition license key activates Orbwing on up to three Macs at a time. The key belongs to the subscription, not to a machine: deactivate a Mac from inside the app and its slot is free again. Activation and deactivation are handled by our merchant of record's licensing service; an activated Mac continues to work for seven days offline before it needs to check in again. Don't share your key outside your own devices.
Orbwing Pro
- Orbwing requires an active Orbwing Pro subscription after the free month.
- Orbwing Pro is the subscription that keeps Orbwing running — the ring, packs, and every action, including AI (and, in the direct edition, scripts). It is an auto-renewing subscription: $2.99 per month or $19.99 per year, in U.S. dollars; local prices may vary. New subscribers get their first month free — one free month per customer, ever, across plans, editions, devices, and email addresses; we use your Apple account (App Store edition) or a device identifier (direct edition) to enforce this, and a repeated trial may be revoked.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. App Store copies are billed and managed through your Apple account — cancel in System Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions any time; the price is always shown before you confirm a purchase. Direct-edition subscriptions are billed by our merchant of record and can be cancelled from your receipt email.
- If your subscription ends, Orbwing pauses until you resubscribe. Your configuration is never deleted.
Refunds
App Store purchases: refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Direct purchases: write to support@orbwing.com within 14 days of a charge and we'll refund it — no questionnaire.
Your content and your keys
Text you run actions on is yours. API keys you add are yours, stored in your Mac's Keychain, and used only to call the provider you chose; usage billed by that provider is governed by your agreement with them. See the privacy policy — Orbwing itself collects nothing.
Acceptable use
Don't use Orbwing to break the law, to violate another service's terms, or to run scripts you don't have the right to run. Script and AI actions execute with your user account's permissions — you are responsible for what your own actions do.
Warranty and liability
Orbwing is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes
If these terms change, the new version will be published here with a new effective date. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
